12TH Annual Mountain Madness
On January 18TH, 2020 at 6 PM, Kennesaw Mountain High School hosted the 12TH Annual Mountain Madness Meet at Cobb Central Aquatic Center. The team swam against many of the best teams the area has to offer, including the Harrison, Lassiter, Wheeler, The Walker School, Mount Paran Christian, and North Cobb Christian. In addition, we celebrated the seniors of the team on this night...also known as senior night.
This special senior night started with introducing and recognizing each individual senior swimmer, accompanied by their parents. Pictures were taken, senior gifts were provided, and Coach Reason spoke with each swimmer individually. Afterwards, group pictures were taken with all the coaches.
The Mustangs swam well, but came up just a little short. The Harrison Hoyas (1,167) won the meet, with Kennesaw Mountain (983) coming in second place overall. The Mustang Women (471) came in third place, behind the Lassiter women (537) and Harrison Hoyas (552). The Mustang men (512) came in second place, behind the Hoya men (615).
The team looks forward to the County Diving Championships on January 23rd, the County Prelim's on January 24thand the County meet on Saturday, January 25th. Come out an cheer them on.
