Hoopcoming 2019

The Swim Team was well represented at the 2019 Hoopcoming Ceremony. The event occured during halftime festivities in the McEachern/Kennesaw Mountain basketball game, held on Monday, January 28th, 2019. Four of our swimmers, Cory McNeir, Brett Reason, Adam Ware, and Ethan Lindler were voted to the Hoopcoming Court, with Ethan being voted "Class Favorite" by his sophomore class.

In addition, Claire Holland, Avery Watson (Homecoming Class Favorite), and Emily Love, homecoming royalty, escorted the young men in the ceremony.

The event was a big success. A nice dinner, created by the culinary arts program, was provided to the court and their families. The entire program, dinner, and two (2) halftime events, was organized and produced by Mane Link. Avery Watson, in her Mane Link leadership role, was instrumental in making this event a success, and fun for all.

Coach Reason was of course in attendance to support not only his son Brett, but the other swimmers/students in attendance.

Congratulations to these fine young student-athletes. It's great to see our swim teammates find success both in and outside of the pool.
