Savannah Is A Great Place To "Meet"
Kennesaw Mountain High School's swim team competed in the Savannah Country Meet, at the Chathum County Aquatic Center in Savannah Georgia.
The team left the school by bus on Thursday, January 10th, 2019 mid-day, and arrived in Savannah by dinner time. The team visited RiverWalk, ate and shopped, and visited the beach to dip their toes in the ocean. Later, they returned to the hotel, to get some "rest" before the big meet.
The next morning, they were ready. The team showed up to defend their title...and they did. The KMHS Mustangs handily won the meet, earning more than 400 pts over the nearest competitor...bringng home more hardware from the coast.
Congratulations to the team, and coaches, for this back to back win.
Hopefully we can take this momentum into the Kennesaw Mountain Madness Meet coming up this week.
Lastly, Happy Birthday to Coach Doug Michalke...hopefully the win made it that much more special.
