The When: November 2nd 6 PM / November 3rd, 9 AM
Cobb RelaysThe Kennesaw Mountain Swim Team made their debut at the Cobb Time Trials, as well at the 2018 Cobb Relays, November 2nd, and 3rd. The Time Trials were held on Friday night and started at 6 PM, and the relays started the next day, Saturday at 9 AM. Mountain View Aquatic Center was packed solid as numerous schools attended the event.
Cobb Time TrialsThe Kennesaw Mountain Swim Team made their debut at the Cobb Time Trials. The swimmers swam well and established their times, to be utilized for placement in the upcoming meets. While there is room for improvment, we are encouraged by what we saw throughout the night.
The teams arrived at 7:45 AM, and began warming up, and firing themselves up with each school chanting their individual "hype" cheers. The coaches got set, Doug Michalke took to the microphone and the meet started right on time.
The ladies and men swam very well against the toughest programs in the county. As a team, the Mustangs won the meet, starting the season off on a positive note. Congratulations on our first ever Cobb Relays Team Championship!! The Mustang women placed 3rd, while the men placed 2nd. We had numerous amazing swims, and congratulations to the following swimmers, breaking the established 200 Yard Butterfly Relay School Record!
